Bus N260 White Grit, Hyssington, Churchstoke, Mellingon, Pentre.

There is a tree on the road at Mellington and the school bus can't get through.  The bus will travel to Melllington arches and turn back to Churchstoke.  If you can't get your child into school please let us know.  There is a GCSE exam this morning.  Any Year 11 without transport, please ring school and we will send a school minibus.

Community College is an open access community school for children aged between 11 and 16. The admissions policy is determined by Shropshire Council, which is the Admissions Authority for all Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in Shropshire.

If your son/daughter is in Year 6 pupil, intend to transition to The Community College and live in Shropshire, applications are made via Shropshire Council’s website: www.shropshire.gov.uk/school-admissions

If your son/daughter is in Year 6 pupil, intend to transition to The Community College and you live in surrounding counties or across the border in Wales, you will need to first apply to Shropshire Council using the link above and then inform your local council, who will then communicate with Shropshire Council regarding your application. Applications from outside of the immediate catchment area are very common and openly welcomed.
